Mrs. Vivian Louise Bridgeforth Smith recently resided in Riverside Senior Living in Decatur. She was born and reared in Tanner and for many years lived on the land farmed by her father and grandfather in Tanner.
She is survived by son, Ural Smith Jr. (Lelia) of Tanner; daughter, Shirley Ann Smith Lynch (Jesse) of Indianapolis, Indiana; grandchildren, Melissa Smith Turner (Timothy) of Marietta, Georgia, Judge Sheryl Lynch and Cory Lynch of Indianapolis, Indiana; and great-grandchildren, Arianna Lynch, Alexis Turner DeWet (Logan), Atlantis Lynch, Aaron Bridgeforth Turner, Cory Lynch II, Joshua Bridgeforth Turner and Zachary Bridgeforth Turner.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Lakeview United Methodist Church (9130 Lucas Ferry Road, Tanner) with Pastor Dennis Jones officiating and Pastor Willie Byrd as eulogist. Burial in Beulah Land Cemetery, Tanner. Mrs. Smith will lie in repose two hours prior to funeral time.
