Robert Morris Davis, 91, of Athens, Alabama passed away peacefully in his home March 3, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Davis was born August 26, 1933, in Limestone County, Alabama, to John Henry Davis and Mary McCormick Davis.

He was a proud veteran of the Navy, who loved gardening, farming, tending to his bees as he was a beekeeper and loved socializing with others. Mr. Davis was a member of Jennings Chapel where he served as a Deacan.

Mr. Davis was preceded into death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving with Diane Davis of Athens; two sons, Scott (Valerie) and David Davis all of Athens; one grandchild, Baily Davis and Fiancée Lee Moyers; nephew, Stuart Davis (Myra) and several other nieces and nephews.

A viewing for Mr. Davis will be Friday, March 7, 2025, from 12:30-2 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home and funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with burial in Hall Cemetery.
