Rickey Garland Bridges Obituary
Rickey Garland Bridges, 68, of Athens, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Rickey was a graduate of Clements High School. He retired from GM-Delphi in Decatur. Rickey loved visiting with his friends at Warren's and Doc's Gym. He will be remembered as an avid Alabama football fan.
Visitation will be held at Rogersville Funeral Home from 2-4p.m. on Friday, August 26th with a graveside service following in Dement Cemetery. Jerry Marlow will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Jamy Cole, Justin Goodwin, Logan Cole, Hudson Goodwin, Dwight Bridges and Tim Gordon.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Lois Bridges. He is survived by his daughters, Jodi (Jamy) Cole, Heather Bridges Lash, Sommer (Justin) Goodwin; grandchildren, Logan Cole, Skye and Hudson Goodwin, Breelyn Lash; special aunts and uncle, Linda Gordon, Sarah Mitchell, Dwight Bridges.
