Richard (Dick) H. Adam Jr. passed away peacefully on September 16, 2017 at home, surrounded by his family. Mr. Adam was born on June 16, 1940 in Shelby, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter Jill A. Adam.
Mr. Adam is survived by his wife Connie Adam and daughters Libby (Daryl) Brackeen of Athens; Debbie (Tod) Craig of Huntsville; grandchildren Josh (June) Brackeen; Emily (Matt) Zirbel; Tyler and Will Craig. "Pawpaw" was especially proud of his four great grandchildren, Landon Brackeen, Molly Zirbel, Sarah Brackeen, and Sawyer Zirbel.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 20, 11:00 AM at St. Paul Catholic Church in Athens with Fr. Tom V. John CMI, PhD officiating. Private interment to follow at a later date.
