Reva Lou Williams Coulter, 72, of Athens, Alabama, passed away July 12, 2017, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 9, 1944, in Middlesboro, Kentucky. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Visitation will be 9-11 a.m. Friday, July 14, at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home in Pulaski, Tennessee. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in Minor Hill Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John D. Coulter; parents, Gano David and Allie Wilson Williams; and brothers, James Emitt Williams and Charles H. Williams.
She is survived by her sons, Wade (Joanie) Holt of Elkmont, Alabama, and Voyce Holt of Athens; daughter, Joanna (Darek) Downs of Athens; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Gwen (Mike) Rich of Morristown, Tennessee, Wilma June Brooks of Knoxville, Tennessee, Dixie (Frank) Rose of Athens, and Cheryl (Teddy) Stewart of Minor Hill, Tennessee; brother, Gano D. Williams Jr. of Harrogate, Texas; stepsons, John David Coulter and Larry Coulter of Athens; and stepdaughter, Donna Coulter Wales. Several nephews, nieces and friends also survive.
Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
