Athens - Ollie Sue Johnson, age 77, of Athens, Alabama departed this life Sunday, February 22, 2026 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held from Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 2 p.m. with her son, Dr. Wesley Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Whitewater Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Hayes Funeral Home on Saturday, February 28, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Mrs. Johnson leaves behind a son, Dr. Wesley (Jessica) Johnson of Athens, Alabama; daughters, Kimberly (Chris) Renfroe of Pearl, Mississippi and Kelli (Ashley) Taylor of Gautier, Mississippi; sister, Julia Hatcher of Woodville, Florida; and a brother, Jerry Craft, of Hartselle, Alabama. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Johnson, and her parents, Vergie and George Craft.
Hayes Funeral Home of Elba, Alabama is serving the Johnson family.
