Mildred  Springer


Mildred Gertrude Springer, 85, of McDonough, Georgia, formerly of Athens, Alabama, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019, at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, Georgia.
She was born September 30, 1933, in Madison County to Henry Cramer and Ida Bell Lee Cramer.
Mrs. Springer was a member of Ephesus Church of Christ for several years and was retired from General Motors.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of more than 60 years, James Edward Springer; one son, Ronnie Springer; one daughter, Melissa Kaye Harvey; and five brothers.
Survivors include two sons, David Springer and wife Debbie of McDonough, Georgia, and Brian Springer of McDonough, Georgia; sister-in-law, Judy Meadows and husband Kenneth of Athens, Alabama; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019, at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Mike Green officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday at McConnell. Burial will be at Limestone Memorial Gardens.
