Mary Evelyn Stark Thacker, 88, of Rogersville passed away Friday, May 3, 2024. Mary was a devoted, long-time member of Bethel Baptist Church. She enjoyed working puzzles, tending to her flowers and cooking for others. Mary adored being at home surrounded by her family and friends. She will be remembered as being a loving and caring Mother and MawMaw.
Visitation for Ms. Mary will be Friday, May 10, from 10-11 a.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home with the funeral service following in the chapel. Burial will be in Mitchell Cemetery. Bill Barlow will be officiating.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Glendell Thacker; parents, Odes and Clara Mae Stark; son, Kevin Thacker. She is survived by her children, Kobin (Jeanine) Thacker, Delaina (Tom) Bly; grandchildren, Collin (Kylie) Peek, Reece Thacker, Cameron (Tricia) Bly, Jessica Bly; great-grandchildren, Gracie Mae Bly, Anderson, Elliott and Palmer Peek.
