Winchester, TN - Joseph Daniel Watson, 34, of Winchester, Tenn., passed away on Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025.

A memorial service will be at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 20255 Hwy 99 Athens, AL 35614, on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2025 at 2 p.m. with Dr. D. Juaken Dumas officiating.

Joseph was born on Nov. 19, 1990, in Athens, Ala. to Timothy and Sharon Watson. He attended school at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Academy.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Timothy Watson. He is survived by his mother, Sharon Watson; wife, Teresa Watson; stepchildren, Reese, James, and Ethan Miller; brother, Chris Watson (Tanya); sister, Crystal Patton (Corey); sister, Sandra Coffman (Gil); nieces and nephews, Olivia Patton, Christopher Watson (Miracl), Abby Stevenson (Jesse), Joshua Watson (Kylie) and Stuart Patton.

Joseph loved to travel, he loved to make those around him laugh and he never met a stranger.

Joseph was a quick learner and could pick up anything in no time. Whether working on construction projects with his dad and brother, drawing, or strumming a guitar, he was incredibly talented.

Our hearts will never be the same, but we are at peace knowing that he is not only with his Heavenly Father, but also his earthly father who was there to welcome him home with open arms.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Building Fund 20255 Hwy 99 Athens, AL 35614.

Joseph grew up in this church and worked extensively on the building with his dad and brother throughout his life.
