David and I weren't friends long, but we instantly hit it off. He was the highlight of my work day. We shared stories about living in the south as kids and talking about how much we loved being from the south and all that means. He was my buddy and I miss him every day, I miss my phone blowing up every night and this world is just too quiet without him in it. RIP David

I have many fond memories of David. He was always goofing around and making us laugh in high school. I hate to hear this news and send my deepest condolences to his family.
