Madison, AL - Holly Hendon Denenny, 68, died April 16, 2025 at home. Services will be held Monday, April 21, 2025 at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Athens City Cemetery. A viewing will be from 1-2 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her father, the Reverend Hollis B. Hendon; her mother, Evelyn Jones Hendon; sisters, Sandra Hendon Bradley and Genelle Hendon Spivey; and her aunt, Anita Billingsley.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Marvin H. Denenny Jr. of Madison, Alabama; two sons, Christopher (Carrie) Denenny, of Madison and Jason (Amanda) Denenny of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama; grandchildren, Cyrus Denenny, Cash Denenny, Cooper Denenny of Madison, and Alyson Dowdy, Abby Graham, Bryson Graham of Owens Cross Roads; a sister, Cheree (Jim) Causey of Tuscaloosa; and nieces and nephews.
Ms. Denenny retired from The University of Alabama in Huntsville after having worked in the University Center for 22 years.
