George Orville Williams Jr. ("Junie") Obituary

George Orville Williams, Jr. "Junie", passed away in Athens, AL, at Athens Limestone Hospital, on Friday, March 28, 2025. Mr. Williams was born on November 17, 1942, in Nashville, Tenn., to parents, George Orville Williams, Sr., and Marietta Vaupel Williams.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Patricia Rogers Williams; sons, Todd, Cayce (Christie) and Nick; sister, Sherry Williams Goode (Rod); and 9 grandchildren, Avery, Matthew, Davis, Philip, Ellie, Anderson, Arden, Amelia and Noah.

Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Stevie.

Visitation for Mr. Williams will be Friday, April 4, 2025, from 5-8 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. A tribute service will be Saturday, April 5, at 2 p.m. at Athens Bible School Gymnasium. A viewing will be from 12-2 p.m.
