He is survived by his wife, Evelyn "Smokie" Sevigne; son, Paul Arthur Sevigne (Charlotte); grandsons, Zachary Scott Sevigne (Robin), Timothy Paul Lindsey and Scott Edward Sevigne (Chava); brothers, Jerry Thomas Sevigne and John Francis Sevigne; sisters, Judith Marie DiGiorgio, Joan Georgianna Eagan, Jacqueline Roberta Lind, Jean Evelyn Wrenn and Dora Estelle Charest; numerous other relatives, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; and a host of friends.

He was a member of Bethel Church of Christ. He loved all, especially little children. He was known as "the chewing gum man," passing out gum to all the little children.
Ed spent 24 years of his life in the Army. Starting as a Buck Private and moving up the ranks to Chief Warrant Officer 4 before retiring.
He and Smokie spent his duty time in Germany and served one tour in Korea and two tours in Vietnam. He could not fly in Vietnam because of an automobile accident which broke several bones in his body. After his retirement, he started a woodworking and antique shop in East Limestone. He was a master craftsman. He could repair almost anything. His daughter Tippy was a cheerleader in East Limestone and asked Ed to be the mascot where he was known as Chief Win'Em All, stirring up the crowd.
Pallbearers are David Hunt, Ethan Hunt, Preston Hunt, Ray Keimig, Brian Rainey and Benji Wright. Honorary pallbearers are Don Cobb, Sammy Keyes, Don Bowers, Edward Hart and Marvin Brown.
The family would like to thank the hospice nurses and staff for their care during his illness, and special friend Emma Burch. In lieu of flowers, please make your contributions to the Bethel Church of Christ, building fund or your favorite charity.
