Dorothy Jean Moon Frahm Obituary

Dorothy Jean Moon Frahm passed away Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, surrounded by her devoted family.

Dot was born in New Hope, Alabama, on Feb. 22, 1930, to David Walker and Ruth Jenkins Moon. For over 30 years, she worked with the United States Army Missile Defense System. Her special hobbies included sewing for family and friends, gardening, and pampering her Maltese, Mollie. Mrs. Frahm was a member of Mayfair Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Betty Sue Moon Kirkland and George Franklin Moon; and her husband, Richard Roy Frahm.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ronald Walker Stapler (Nancy) and Gary Moon Stapler (Brenda); grandchildren, Scott Stapler (Amy) and Christy Hudgens (Eric); great-grandchildren, Eli, Caroline, and Campbell Stapler, and Grayson and Walker Hudgens; step-grandchildren, Christy Williams and Todd Tielking; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Monday, Jan. 9, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home with the funeral service following, Dr. Gary Bradley officiated. Burial was in Valhalla Memorial Gardens.
