Clema Wooldridge Fay, age 82, of Rogersville, passed away Dec. 26, 2018, at Athens-Limestone Hospital.

Mrs. Fay was born March 27, 1936, in a log cabin on Cairo Hollow Road in Limestone County. She was a graduate of Athens High School and Athens State College. Mrs. Fay worked as a nursing assistant at Athens Hospital and in doctor offices for 15 years. She worked as a social worker and was supervisor at the Department of Human Resources of Limestone County, where she retired after 27 years.

Mrs. Fay was a member of the church of Christ all her life and attended Rogersville Church of Christ. She was a beautiful and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Fay was predeceased by her parents, Nolan and Viola Wooldridge; one brother; and three sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Robert T. Fay; her daughter, Renee Rice; son, Eric Rice; stepson, Robert T. Fay Jr.; and stepdaughter, Robyn Tringali; grandchildren, Tyler P. Rice, Nicholas Tringali, Steven Tringali, Katie Tringali, Erica Rice and Derrick Rice; great-grandson, dColton P. Rice; sister, Linda Hill, and four brothers, Alton Wooldridge, Milton Wooldridge, Wayne Wooldridge and Tommy Wooldridge; and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, at Rogersville Church of Christ, with the service following at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is directing.
