Brenda Joyce (Davis) LeCroix passed from this earth on Monday, May 29, 2023, after a brief

illness. She was born in 1944 at Lee County Hospital in Opelika, Alabama to the late O. Z. and

Jessie (Mayfield) Davis. Joyce grew up in Eva, Alabama and lived in Athens and Anderson,

Alabama.

Survivors include her husband of thirty-five years, James Howard (Jim) LeCroix; two daughters,

Lisa Nesmith Bowen (Dwane) and Amy Nesmith Cox (Tim); two grandchildren, Shelbi and Jessi

Bowen; three stepchildren and their families; Jade LeCroix Millwood (Bill), Granville LeCroix

(wife Kristen and children, Bryson, Abby, Porter, AJ); Mahlon LeCroix (wife Ashley and children,

Sam and Maggie); three siblings David Davis, Glenn Davis (Gayle) and Susan Parker (Paul);

brother-in-law Charles David LeCroix (Irna) and Joan LeCroix and their families. Joyce also loved

her cousins and life-long friends.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, June 3, at Rogersville Cumberland Presbyterian Church,

Hwy. 72, Rogersville, Alabama. Visitation will be 1-2:30 pm and the service will begin at 2:30.

The family suggests donations in Joyce's memory be made to your favorite pet charity.
