Betty Archer Besherse, 83, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016. She was born Oct. 13, 1933.
Betty was the beloved mother of five children and an honorable and faithful wife of 47 years to John "J.B" Besherse. She was a faithful member of Harvest Church of Christ. After 20 years of service, she retired from Redstone Arsenal Army T.A.C.M.S.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
Survivors include her children, Karen Jane Perhach, John B. Besherse II (Denise), Douglas F. Besherse (Rhonda), Jeffrey R. Besherse (Dana), and Mark L. Besherse (Pam); grandchildren, John Crosslin, Martha Thompson, John Besherse III, April Ridgeway, Wes Besherse, Ashely Divas, Zack Besherse, Ben Besherse, Mack Besherse, Sarah Beth Besherse, and Kimberly Besherse; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, whom she all dearly loved.
Visitation is 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 1, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home, with the service following in the chapel at 11. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
She will be greatly missed by her family, friends, and loved ones. She leaves many wonderful memories, including her wonderful smile, her infectious laugh and her beautiful voice. Proverbs 31:10-12, 25-31.
