Barnes Beasley, 84, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017. He was born March 3, 1932.

Barnes was a devoted husband and father. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War, a NASA engineer, a Gideon, and a longtime member of Sherwood Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jeweldine (Judy); son, Marc David (Jo); daughter, Judith Kathryn Manteuffel (Jonathan); grandchildren, Cody (Jessica), Kayla, and Jamie; and great-granddaughter, Emersyn. Barnes was predeceased by his parents, John Beasley, Sr. and Ethel Beasley, and eight siblings.

Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 pm Wednesday at Sherwood Baptist Church, 6600 Old Madison Pike, Huntsville, AL 35806, with services at 2:00 pm, also at the church. Burial will be at Huntsville Memory Gardens. (www.laughlinservice.com)
