Preceded in death by his mother, Clorrine Shoulders King and his father, Willie King.
Survived by his wife, Cindy Cox King of Athens, Ala.; sons, Brian (Davette) King of Huntsville, Ala., Jeremy (Sarah) King of Columbia, Tenn., Johnathan King of Harvest, Ala. and Desmond Aldridge of Decatur, Ala.; daughters, Amy Lee of Lewisburg, Tenn. and Crystal Dawes of Pulaski, Tenn.; brothers, Sam (Peggy) King of Athens, Ala., Willie (WeeWee) King of Athens, Ala., Alfred (Karen) King of Athens, Ala. and Deon (Sheree) King of Huntsville, Ala.; sisters, Ida Mae Jackson of Louisville, Ky., Bessie Morgan, Georgia King and Faye King all of Athens, Ala., and Carol King of Huntsville, Ala.; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
