William T.


William T. "Tommy" Black, 69, of Grafton, Ohio, passed away Sunday March 17, 2019, at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center following a brief illness.
He was born August 14, 1949, in Athens, Alabama. Tommy was a forklift operator with General Motors. He loved spending time with family and friends, and he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and tinkering in his shop.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Linda K. (nee: Beam); a daughter, Traci L. Carruth of Elkmont, Alabama; and a son, William J. black (Brandi L.) of Elkmont, Alabama; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Janie Black of Elyria, Ohio.
Tommy was preceded in death by his parents, Fletcher W. and Doris J. (nee: Furline) Black; a sister, Deborah K. Black; and a brother, Joey A. Black (Jackie).

Tommy loved his old style country music and sitting outside enjoying nature. Tommy loved his Witt’s BBQ. We will miss Tommy’s laid back good nature spirit and his good old days stories..
