Thomas Leon Baldwin, 73, of Athens died Saturday, April 7, 2018, at Good Samaritan Nursing Facility in Oakland City, Indiana.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Aaron Dunnavant officiating. Burial in Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation is from 11 a.m. until service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Baldwin was born April 5, 1945, in Limestone County. He was a member of Parklane Baptist Church in Oneonta. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a retired machinist.
Survivors include daughter, Tammy (Bobby) Brown of Athens; sons, Michael (Bonnie) Baldwin of Athens and Skip (Cammie) Baldwin of Owensville, Indiana; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Georgia Estelene (Floyd) Gordon of Athens; brother, Ocie (Helen) Baldwin of Swan Creek, Illinois; several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, George Thomas Baldwin and Laura Lucille Hall Baldwin; one brother; and six sisters.
