Reba's Story

Mrs. Reba Ezell Byram, age 101 of Athens, passed away Friday, July 28, 2017, at Athens Rehab and Senior Center. Mrs. Byram was born on July 8, 1916, in Athens to William and Betty McLemore Ezell.
Mrs. Byram was preceded in death by her parents; husband Charles Ree Byram; son Charles Byram; son-in-law, Bobby Lindsay and her brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Lindsay of Athens, and Patricia McCormack and husband, Charlie of Athens; one daughter-in-law, JoAnn Byram of Athens; six grandchildren, Renee Lindsay, Regina Hamilton, Pam McCormack, Mack McCormack, Melanie Bridges and Janet Lee all of Athens; ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Byram was a member of Market Street Church of Christ.
Services for Mrs. Byram were Sunday, July 30, 2017, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. David Cox and Mike Davis officiating. Visitation was prior to the service. Burial was in Athens City Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mack McCormack, Jamison Bridges, Blake Hamilton, Cole Hamilton, Billy Davis, Jerry Ezell, Kevin Holland and Steve Ezell.
