Millanee Moore Stinnett, 82, of Athens, died Monday at Limestone Health Facility.
Mrs. Stinnett was born September 13, 1936, in Limestone County. She was a member of Carriger church of Christ. She worked for many years at Athens Pharmacy and Athens Florist. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and mother-in-law.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Rodney Britton, Dan Binkley and Sylvester Malone officiating. Burial in Sandlin Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Spry Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be James Schrimsher, Kip Lindsay, Jimmy Helms, Aubrey Todd, Bryan Harwell, Chris Lauderdale, Jeff McCluskey and David Suit. The men of Carriger church of Christ will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Survivors include children, Teresa Stinnett Suit of Athens, Dannie Stinnett and wife Kay of Athens, Bobby Stinnett and wife Lori of Meridianville and Tim Stinnett of Elkmont; sister, Villa Mae Emery of Centrailia, Illinois; brother, George Eugene Moore and wife Joyce of Massey; four granddaughters, Jessica French and Husband Brandon of Trinity, Ashley Stinnett, Noelle Suit of Athens and Morgan Stinnett of Pembroke Pines, Florida; one step-granddaughter, Ashley Parker and fiance Chris of Birmingham; one step-grandson, David Suit of Valhermoso Springs; great-grandsons, Gracen French and Austin Zane French arriving in three weeks of Trinity; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by husband, Zane Stinnett; parents, Nellie B. Moore and Thecla Odell Lynn Moore; brothers, Jimmy Moore and Edsel Bueall Moore; and sister, Willa Faye Moore.
