Keith worked in aviation and for several years he worked at Flight Safety in West Palm Beach Florida as a helicopter instructor. To best describe Keith, the following is from a former Flight Safety coworker of Keith's: "Keith, along with Michelle and others were extremely helpful to me in understanding helicopters. I always knew that I could ask Keith anything about aviation and get the straight scoop. I leaned on him a lot when I had S92 questions. Keith taught S92 Mx and Avionics, Piaggio Mx and Avionics and Pratt & Whitney engines. I often told him he was the smartest guy I knew in aviation." Another friend, a pilot, described Keith as: "A truly colorful character with a high level of professionalism." Keith was well respected and highly regarded in the field of aviation that he loved. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Sardis Springs Baptist Church, 18310 AL-251, Athens, AL 35613 on Tuesday, August 8th with visitation at 2pm and a memorial service following at 3pm. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center in Keith's name.
