Mr. Henry Jefferson Hagood, 79, of Athens, Alabama, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2019. Mr. Hagood was born on May 12, 1940, in Limestone County to Harold Hagood and Memory Evans.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Hagood is survived by his wife, Joyce Hagood; sons, Glenn Hagood (Paige) and Jerry Golden (Wendy) both of Harvest, Alabama; daughter, Penny Krell (Allen) of Huntsville, Alabama; grandchildren, Taylor McWaters, Karsyn McWaters, Kelly Tackett, Daniel Krell, Aaron Golden and Ashlee Oakes; great-grandchildren, Brodie Oakes and Dakota Oakes; brothers, Wayne Hagood (Joyce) of Vinemont, Alabama, and Vernard Hagood of Athens, Alabama; and sister, Wynell Williams (Donnie) of Athens, Alabama.
Services for Mr. Hagood will be 11 a.m. Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Gerome Hilliard, Don Davis and Daniel Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 9-10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Perdue, Donnie Williams, Bobby Jackson, Aaron Golden, Jerry Golden and Fred Richardson. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy Glenn, Bobby Turpen, the Madison City Bus Drivers and Deacons of Midway Baptist Church.

So very saddened to learn of Henry's passing, he was my buddy when we worked together at Aramark. My thoughts and prayers are with all his family.
