Dewayne Pressnell age 78 of Athens, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Keller Landing Tuscumbia, AL. Mrs. Pressnell was born March 25, 1938 in Limestone County, AL to Archie Morgan Baugher and Mamie Alice Claxton Baugher.
Services will be Saturday, March 25, 2017 11:00 a.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Mike Weatherford and Jim Hayes officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Pressnell was a member of Bethel Church of Christ. She was employed for 27 years at Limestone County Co-op, and was an active volunteer in different organizations.
Survived by her husband, Donald Pressnell of Athens; two daughters, Felicia Phillips and husband, Barry, Sharon Ferguson and husband, Steve both of Athens; one son, Mark Pressnell and wife, Roslyn of Athens; grandchildren, Holly Wood and husband, Andy, Morgan Pressnell and wife, Alex, Colby Phillips, Hayden Phillips and Marlee Phillips; great-grandchildren, Mamie Pressnell, Lane Pressnell, Holland Wood and Asa Gray Wood; one sister, Margaret Rogers and husband, Joe of Athens; one brother, Don Baugher and wife, Joyce of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Morgan Pressnell, Colby Phillips, Barry Phillips, Hayden Phillips, Steve Ferguson, Andy Wood, Chris Preston and John Laxson.
