Beverly Downs Tyler, 60, of Elkmont, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, at Huntsville Hospital.
She was born Monday, Aug. 5, 1957, in Limestone County. She was the daughter of the late Douglas Eugene Downs and Mavis Nadine Downs.
Beverly loved life. For 10 years she was a very dedicated member of Heaven's Way Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter, Stephanie (Curt) Nichols of Lester; sister, Teresa (Ronnie) Church of Hazel Green; grandchildren, Elizabeth Andrews, Isaiah Andrews, Patrick Nichols and Ashley Pitts; nieces, Ashley Anderson of Ardmore, Brittany (Chucky) Wilbanks and Danielle (Chris) Moore, both of Elkmont; nephew, Heath Hill of Ardmore; great-nieces, Hannah, Lindsey, Addison and Kaitlyn; great-nephew, Caleb, Levi and Charles; best friend, Beckie Adams of Elkmont; and a host of family and friends.
The funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama, with Bros. Greg Chappell and Josh Emerson officiating. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens in Athens.
Visitation will be 5-8 Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Chucky Wilbanks, T.J. Hunt, Chris Moore, Heath Hill, Ronnie Church, and Brandon Downs. Honorary pallbearers will be Peanut Hill, Gary Heard, R.D. Heard, Donald Heard, Buck Collins and Johnny Lamb.
